The Education
Diamonds, decoded.
Cut, color, clarity, carat — and how to weigh them against each other.

The Four C's
Cut
How a stone is shaped and faceted. Cut governs how light moves through the diamond — and how it returns to the eye.
Color
From colourless (D) to faintly tinted (Z). Subtle, mostly invisible to the untrained eye in a finished setting.
Clarity
How free a diamond is of internal inclusions. From flawless to included — most are eye-clean from VS2 upward.
Carat
Weight, not size. A heavier stone isn't always larger when set; cut and shape change perceived size.
Lab-Grown vs. Natural
Both real, both certified.
Chemically and optically identical. Lab-grown diamonds offer a lower price-per-carat and a smaller environmental footprint; natural diamonds carry the story of geologic time. We sell both, GIA-certified, with full transparency on origin.
